The Crab (poem)

I

To the left
To the right
It crawls
To the left
To the right
Clumsily
It moves
In orbit
In reverse
It moves
In white
In red
To its hole
It's escaped

I've missed
A catch, O!

I mend my net tonight,
Basket too,
For bumper harvest
From holes
Around my house.

II

As I catch them,
I pick one with my bare hand.
The razors - they seize my
Small finger
I shout
Help! Help!
